a wakizashi and a 12 guage slug with drum clip. something that will blow the top off a zombie. l4d style.
 
Hmm, Gun: Remington 870HD w/ +2 mag extension (7+1 capacity) and bayonet attachment. Combined with a Hi-Cap .45 (XD Tac./G21/FNP45). Or Springfield SOCOM16 w/ same pistol.

Knife: RC10 (when it comes out)/ or BK9.

Of what I have now:

Condor 18" El Salvador Machete - main zombie eating machine
Swamp Rat Waki - for a tough as hell lil sword
Becker BK9
Ball-peen hammer


I need to add a hawk soon...:)

ETA: Had a khuk but sold it...will pick up another sometime down the line :)

If my world was populated by slow moving zombies I would go for the spiked baseball bat someone made and posted here a bit ago and a Mossberg 590 with slugs.

For the faster moving zombies like the last day of the dead movie or I am legend series would only worry about the knife as a general survival tool as they are definitely lacking in standoff and would go for a FAL or M14/M1A , though a bayonet on either would make for a great last ditch zombie skewer.

Of the Items I actually own I would go with my Rat RC-3 and my Garand over my AR, better stopping power and then my wife can carry the lighter AR and watch my back :D

I would carry a FN-5.7 and a Cold Steel O-Tanto.
 
for zombies I'd use a machete, my 870, and my xd9mm. A baseball bat would be pretty good too if it wasn't to big to carry
 
I wouldn't carry a knife for fighting zombies.........I would like to be able to chop and slash without them being able to reach me.

Glock 17 + machete.

Don't like to use a firearm for zombies(just not as fun), but do carry the FN for back up.

If we're talking slow zombies, a .22 would perform just fine.
I'd take a Ruger 22/45 with a backpack full of ammo and 10 or so mags over a shotgun or rifle.

For a blade, a Busse AK47 or a HI Khuk would do well.

In a SHTF zombiepocalypse, the point is to get to safety unscathed, not get the most kills.
 
Id like a samari sword of some kind. As far as guns, id take anything that has lots of ammo:)
 
I'd get a Cavalry Sabre and a shotgun. The Sabre severs limbs quite well, and the shotgun explodes heads better than just about anything else.
 
Cold steel trail hawk and an M4. If it has to be a knife I'd go with a Khuk as well.
