Zombies attack!

those anticipating zombie attacks should watch the documentary, "dawn of the dead". there are slow zombies, the wandering kind, and fast zombies, the angry kind.

however slow ones can quickly become fast ones. they are somewhat unpredictable.

ill go with a busse ak-47 for maximum head chopping and the ability to look those bastards in the eyes.

I would go with Milla Jovovich and her Kukris......after she's done killing the zombies.......well.....you know.................

I'm suprised that nobody has chosen a Dark Ops yet. What better tool to deanimate the reanimated?!?

Jubei

I'm going to have to go with a tomahawk- I reckon my Cold Steel Rifleman's hawk might be handy for this work- use the hammer side to smash some skulls. Failing that, I'd go for my two-handed machete. Be helpful to try and keep some distance between me and their teeth!

Hmmm...I'd have to go with a machete or a HI kukri.

I must admit, I love the Busse AK-47.
After a few minor purchases (700AUD) I'll be chipping in for one of them.
Got some killer zombie choppin to do

Also get a bunch of 12 inch nails sharpened "properly" on both ends for those times when your feeling fun, and a mace whilst riding a dirtbike could be arm wrenching goodness.

22" Machete for the slow movers.

For the fast movers, 12 gauge pump.

When they swarm me, out comes the Chain Saw.

Every zombie fan knows that all you need is something pointy to pass through their soft heads right? I'd take a rapier - impaling w/ style.

Given the known unpredictability of the zombie, shouldn't one assume the worst and just assume that we're dealing with 28 days later zombies? so they can run, and if you get any of their zombie juices (re: blood, spit, etc) on an open wound/eye/mouth you will turn into them. Given this situation, you want the best blade you can manipulate from a distance and which will not create too much spray. This eliminates any hammer style weapons or hatchets. Without the spray factor I would go for a good ol' fashioned ball and chain, but since I plan to avoid their goop:

long blade means distance, hand guard means your most exposed bodypard is protected, and cold steel means its probably sharp.

thats just silly. though perhaps based on actual events, 28 days is a work of fiction. ;) ;)

yes, treat all zombies as fast moving and angry. i dont care for cold steel products, so my choice is the ak, 20+ inch cutting edge.

and a ball & chain is not a knife. and i would think an impact weapon used on their mushy flesh would create more spray than a blade.

It's not zombie stew- but Lapin Vermontoise. Yes I have the recipe in my head and wish I had the free 10 minutes to write it down.

Be advised that the original 1978 version is far superior to the newer release.

Also, the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead is superior to the original.

And World War Z by Brooks is required reading!
