I'm in the same boat they charged my debit card but I haven't received a confirmation email yet either. If I log into my account on the ZT website it is listed under recent purchases so I assume I surely got one. Maybe well get an email when it ships.

I have not received an email confirmation either but my credit card has been charged and the purchase shows up under my account on the Kai website. I can not wait to have this bad boy in my hands. Very beautiful knife. This is my favorite 0392 version yet. I absolutely love the satin grind on this knife. Almost like the 0450 which I also love. Keep us posted guys and I'll do the same. Congrats to all who got one.
 
I suppose maybe they just don't care about all the troubles their customers have if the knives still sell out in <10min?

I think they're really trying to improve the experience but at the end of the day no matter how much coding or changes they make they cannot control how many people go to the site to try to buy it. The only real thing that would fix it is if they literally made people go line up at the factory to purchase it. So this is better than the alternative in my opinion.

I disagree. You think there are a lot of people hitting their website for this knife? Compare it to other big websites that are constantly being hit harder than that all the time. I don't think they're wiling to fix it the right way which would probably cost them a lot of money.
 
The last time they did this release through 5 of the big online vendors it crashed them all at some point, IRRC.

So yes, a ton of people are trying to buy them.

This is a knife company we are talking about, not some big tech company. Even when they distributed the knives across different dealers to help slow the traffic those sites got hit hard and had some of the same problems.

Caught up in the game i see :) to each their own.... there is absolutely nothing wrong qith 204p or s35vn as both are great steels. I enjoy both companies and specifically look forward to the new 2016 ZT offerings(hoping for a George/ZT VECP). One thing I learned from my first 0392 is that it didn't fit my large hand with the slender handle like the XM18 does. I also happen to enjoy the 0562cf in 204p but again, while very nice.... Doesn't have the build quality of a real XM18 :) . So please continue to attempt to put people down for their preferences and if someone wants to buy something just because they can ;) it continues to make you look bad [emoji33]
