If not life goes on, and I'm sure I'll find more that I can obsess about. Like the zt0550BW I lost...

Even the 0454 was a headache to get, which I thought that was poorly executed too, due to the whole shopatron thing. I hate indecision, which ZT seems to be good at.

What part of "they are working hard to get things figured out" do you NOT understand??

Whoever "wulfftruble" is on the bay appears to have sold #0461 and now has #0087 up for sale.

Makes you wonder.......

Thanks for the ignorant comment, however I know that they are working on it. My point is, they shouldn't have released their knives until they had everything worked out, it's not like their customers are going anywhere.

Perhaps you don't understand things from other perspectives, only your own. I help run a business, I know a thing or two about what makes customers/clients happy.

You'll probably be one of those guys wasting hours refreshing a page anyways, enjoy buddy, hope you get one;)

Boohoo, they haven't even released this product yet and you still manage to bitch about how it happened. None of us know the rules that are in place or even what dealers(s) are going to have them, yet you like to speculate and complain like every other whiner in this thread. If ZT is reading this, i'm sure they are happy they do not reside here any longer.

Yep -

Everyone is in the same boat on this one - I wish everyone could get one but that is not how the LE game works.

Guess ZT will have to live with the reduced sales from people "showing them".

It's not about "everybody getting one", it's about having a constantly reliable way of purchasing LE's. This way dosent work for everyone, but it works for you, so I guess that's all that matters:rolleyes:

I'm not trying to be a dick, but you just come across as really whiny....

So the knives are ready to ship, ZT should just hang onto them until they get "everything" worked out??

Apparently they have figured out a way to move product (and not sit on it), you just don't like it. Boo-fricken-Hoo

I'll be sure to email ZT and tell them they should wait and release the knife after they clear their sales method with you.

The serial #s make me believe he got one from Europe and one from the early access program. Auston has one from Europe, and it has a high number (mid 300s I believe) and mine from the early access program is #0074. Would certainly make the most sense as to why someone has two.
 
too much complaining.

i wish they would release them with their rules in place for the dealers but NOT tell anyone which dealers. I think it would level the playing field

What is the bigger picture? Everyone knows these are a limited edition. When it comes to a LE, I expect limited quantities. I don't feel like I should be guaranteed anything. Hopefully ZT has chosen responsible retailers and laid out a set of rules that they must follow. Everyone keeps saying ZT has dropped the ball, they have failed, the world is ending, etc...Yet, none of us know how this is going down, so why all the bitching?

Agreed. I'm excited right now. If I don't get one in the retail release, I'll get one in the secondary market after prices stabilize.

So instead, they should release them this way and upset customers? Of course, some customers will find something to complain about anyways, but many of us know that direct sales are the way to go. Why take a step in the wrong direction? Why not go out with a bang and show your customers that you have been working on it? I'm sure ZT has space in their warehouse for a few hundred knives (but God forbid we wait).

Nope, I guess an ass-backwards sale still makes more sense. Screw the customers that have things to do with their lives, let's just market it to people that will cluck-out over ZT products...

Which dealers are getting them? Where should I put in my order, since it is working for me?

Just wondering? Does someone know?

I hope you can get one, I know you like ZT knives.

I just don't understand the sudden pissing match, heck, you don't even know if the dealers you like to work with will be getting them, do you?
