Did you see any 0801BLK which would not be BlackWashed and just DLC?

The other two you mentioned are 0801BWCF and 0801BW?

I believe you Sir. Thank you for passing the information to us.This subject is a sore subject with KAI and I am sure the reps were scripted.I think there will be more, but for today there is only 100.It is what it is and time will tell.I appreciate you sharing the information and thank you.

The two reps I talked to said their target was 1000 and that they'll be shipping soon. To be completely accurate, I asked if their target was 1000 and they both, at the same time said yes, then one dude said "it'll probably wind up a little less than that." fwiw
 
Ramzar, I did not see one that just had DLC, I actually handled the blackwashed one at ZT's booth and the BWCF one at Smokey Mountain Knifeworks booth. That one was priced to me at $399.99
And I do believe the reps were scripted, due to the fact that they both answered the question identically, one lady and one fella. They were crazy busy at that booth and all the reps put off a little air of geez, another question...I guess that's to be expected when they get inundated like they were. I'm hoping for more 454's myself as I would like one. Didn't have any luck on the lottery!

BTW, sorry for no pics, but I'm handicapped, and left phone in the truck, and it was a hike in for me. May be going back Sun, I'll make sure I have camera ability if I go back.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone would just leave the price on their thread? What is there to hide? This has bugged me for a long time. I like the guys that say "I will take the knife $125", just so the price doesn't get $old out.

Be man and leave your sale price up.

I've heard its best to quote the full post when you say you'll take a knife. That way it saves everything, pictures, descriptions and everything so in case the seller accidentally deletes the post and then a dispute arises, there's still a record of what the ad said.
 
That is a very good idea. I always think it looks kind of underhanded or ify changing the price after the sale.

Judging by the prices that some other LE ZT's are fetching, and the $500 MSRP on these knives, that $1K pricetag might have been too low.. lol
