Just got my yellow scale in, second 0551 should be here tomorrowA little disappointed as the scale was not signed by Rick while my battleship gray one was. Have they stopped signing the scales or was this one a mistake?
My guess is a mistake. One that will be rectified.

Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me IMHO, only Rick or Rob can answer your question though. I say put the yellow one on and enjoy your 0551

My green scale was not signed either and it mildly bugged me for about 5 seconds. Then I moved on since it is irrelevant really.

So who prefers the frag pattern over the Hinderer pattern scales?? I just seem to like the Hinderer patter scales more myself.

You mean from Randy... at Marks? Great selection - super folks. Both of my 0551's came from there, as well as a bunch of other sharp goodies - including the other two in that photo. It's worth the drive and the added cost to be able to see and fondle the new knives. I'll likely be there Saturday... sporting an orange Auburn shirt.
New or OEM scales, the 0551 is a super knife!

Yeah I was referring to Randy. Also I was meaning the small seb, not the 551. Although both of my 551s came from there also. We might just be riding over there on Saturday too. I'll make sure I let ya know if we do!
