ZT 0801 lock bar slip; Does yours exhibit this behavior?

it is premature to make those very assertions about the subject entirely without having bothered to read anything to verify the claims made, which are not understated. Go ahead, give it a look.

I admit I don't recall reading a thread by duro before, but having read this tread with an open mind I saw no trolling and a valid concern. I don't believe people should scorn this type of behavior on these forums, as they should be a source of information be it good or bad. The knife in the video he showed does have lockbar issues, if his is the same then his has issues.

Duro maybe at this point you should make a video of the knife to show it wasn't a made up issue or a troll. I hope in the end you are satisfied with your knife, contact the company to make it right if it bothers you - or just sell it. I haven't dealt with kershaw's customer service personally, but I've heard good things.. if you write them an email about this issue I think they would make it right.

and at the end of the day if you're a big nitpicker in general about F&F and want a perfectly made knife every single time... kershaw doesn't really charge enough to be able to do that. Chris reeve does, try them out.

Duro made a video the first time he thought he had a "problem" with a zt 056x. He clearly disengaged the lockbar himself and proceeded to tell us we were nuts. His videos don't hold water. It has been recommended he call C.S. and send it in, in all of his ZT conspiracy threads. Seriously do yourself a favor and research Duro and you will have no problem seeing where anyone in this thread is coming from.

FYI he also had a chris reeve thread not too long ago.

That is Remy's point. Duro is a known troll who loves to bring out the worst in people, so move his thread to where it belongs.
These off topic dogpiles and insult fests have no place outside of W&C.
It cheapens the forum and encourages people to push the boundaries of good behavior.

How am I trolling? If I didn't have issues, I would not take the time to post.

While I do not know the OPs history on the forum, what I have come to notice is that people attack anybody who do not sing the praises of KAI/ZT and it sickens me to some extent. People are not allowed to freely express their views on said company. I thought intelligent knife conversation would allow criticisms and compliments but I guess not. I have hit and miss knives (more hits than miss) from ZT and it seems people would rather hide the problems of KAI/ZT and ATTACK the people who express these problems. Yet these same people would publicly denounce other companies such as Microtech or others. Just something I have noticed.

Right now I'd love to see this moved to W&C, so I could say exactly how I feel.

I'll admit, I'm not in the best of moods today, but this isn't the first time duro has spewed idioticism either. I usually give newer people here a fair bit of leeway, but so many of duro's posts here have been borderline trolling (and that fact has been pointed out to him many times), I suspect he's doing it on purpose now. His posts certainly have that odor to them...

If you don't have an 0801, or valid opinion on why this lock bar can move over 100%, depending on how much force is applied on the handle, then please; don't post.

I know this is apparently your life, but seriously...
