I'd just love to see a 456 that doesn't weight as much as a brick. I love the knife... Aside from the weight.

I don't think we are their target audience(military and law enforcement is the guys are their target group ), zt has a few knives that are lightweight but most are over 5 oz.,I have a few zt's but don't carry them at all...but always interested in new knives so 2018 bring it on

If it does not weigh like a brick, it will not be called 0456;) The key idea behind 0456 is hefty and sturdy.

Last Christmas i worked in the knife Dept. at a local sporting goods store, i looked at the ZT 456 many times and really got to like it's hefty feel and how well it was built, so i bought one and am very happy with it.
I might not carry it everyday but thats just because it depends on what i am going to do each day.

Many people don't know that ZT owned by KAI USA Itd. who also own Kershaw.

I'm thinking about, when I get the money to blow on it, getting my 0456 milled out to drop the weight, but it would likely be cheaper to just get a custom scale with inset threads (I'm a lefty).

A company that exclusively makes expensive knives definitely doesn't target the military.

I'd like to see another fixed blade. I still kick myself for missing the one they discontinued last year.

I'd also love to see a redesigned 301 type. Giant, heavy beast of a knife but fired without the use of a torsion bar (detent and BBs are fine for me).

+1 to both. And lose the recurve on the 301 for those of us who are sharpening impaired.

Let's get a Hinderer half track ZT style. That would be dope.

I also wanna see a 0456 style but more elongated less Stout and more slicey

And dang bring back the Elmax and the 0560-0561with a 2018 twist.
