What ever happened to the ZT 888 and 454? and will the 801 cf actually be fore sale or are they pre order only? The 888 was an awesome knife at blade but then it just kinda vanished.
0454 is 2014. I have 2 on order.
I'm still carrying my 0801. It's been one of my more enjoyable purchases (production) in the past few years. Simply put...I love mine.
I was underwhelmed with edge holding initially, but after resharpening it holds it fine. I think it's a really well made knife that is worth the money.
Did they ever fix the issue with the crazy threadlocker in the pocket clip screws? Heard quite a few complaints regarding that a few months back. Tried a ZT0801 in person and was blown away by how great it was. I was initially put off by the weight but handling it in person made me realize that I don't mind that much but not being able to change the clip to lefty might be a dealbreaker.
Can anyone point me in the direction of the titanium clips for these. I have seen quite a few but can't find the source! Driving me nuts
Asking this again. I too am interested in finding the story on these. I haven't even seen the pics yet, but do not like the stock clip.

Yester5 (of USN) Makes custom Ti clips for this model. If anyone points you guys in the right direction please let me know.
I think that's something that will just vary from knife to knife. Some will be able to get them out with no problems while others have trouble. Personally, I know that my T6 head is a cheap little thing so I didn't want to press the issue too much. Suggestions for loosening it have involved different ways of applying heat to the pivot and some of those ways are more effective/less damaging than others. Bottom line is that you need a good tool because that prevents stripping the screws and if it's stuck, a little bit of heat will help to break the lock.
