You don't want honest opinions because your mind seems to be made up.
Good knives, absolutely horrific business model.
If you can get one on the Exchange, you're good.
When you hear of the horror stories right here from well respected members.......that's good enough for me.
 
I'm a guy who just waited 250 days for a 4.1 that was supposed to be here in 90 . Frustration was certainly happening on my end ,I even thought about cancelling so I feel the same as all of you but I'm not going to sit here and say it was a (scam).

So do you have it now? If so why are you asking us for opinions on a knife you already own?

I'll add that the difference between a Survive! preorder and a CPK preorder is execution. Survive seems to take your money and promise delivery in a time frame that is then exceeded over and over. CPK takes your money, promises delivery and then delivers within the promised time frame. Same concept, handled very differently.

I am new to bf and did not realize that if I own a knife from a company that i shouldn't ask what other peoples opinions are about the company .

Almost everyone in this thread agrees: The knives are good.

The only negative things mentioned are that the designs are boring or uninspired.

Quality is great by almost all acounts.

Being that you asked "what the community thinks about Survive" ... don't be surprised when they tell you.

People are trying to be nice to you by warning you about their terrible business practices. DESPITE how nice their knived may be.

Take it or leave it.

Name calling and insults. Good job. Shows where you stand. Sorry you don't like the news on survive knives. Btw that is the name of the company, which you asked about.

I really just wanted to know if someone really got scammed and it just kind of took off from there. But I know the answer to that now
 
I hope you get your 4.1 and are very happy with it. I'm too impatient to wait 250 days after they take my money for a knife.

It doesn't appear that anyone actually got scammed by them. They accepted their terms apparently.
 
I really think the designs look great, the designs are simple but appear extremely functional. I won't be trying any of their knives though, I cancelled my GSO6 preorder 4/26/17, still waiting on a refund 5/26/17 after multiple emails over the last month and a voicemail left today. I cancelled my GSO4.1 preorder on 5/17, obviously waiting for a refund there too. My orders were placed in July and September of 2015, I am just tired of waiting. I've purchased alternates from other manufacturers already, I figure the knife I have with me in the field is better than the knife I have on preorder.
