2" x 72" Belt Grinder kit $369.99

The whole situation is just sad!

Sad for the people who were shafted.

I don't have any sympathy for someone who steals money from other people regardless of their "situation".

Both of his websites are shut down now as well.

I am happily grinding away on my KMG but unfortunately others did not get their money back and can't afford a grinder now because Wil stole it from them.

Many of us had spent a lot of money on other needed items to make this project work and are out that money now as well. Luckily most of what I had I am able to use on the KMG.

Planning to pay him a visit? Sure, I was, he is only about 4 hours from me. No need to now but had I planned on going I certainly wouldn't have mentioned it on a public forum beforehand.

I'm sure between the money eBay had to refund and people who wrote checks that he robbed, the police have plenty of complaints.

I stated the "whole" situation is sad. Its sad that guys got ripped off.
Its also sad when a guy had a decent reputation here and his life falls apart to the point that he looses everything, even down to even loosing his integrity.

I wasn't picking his side Cpirtle, relax!

Just saying that the whole situation is sad

I don't know you, you don't know me, but this is the second time you have told me to "relax" in this thread.

You have opinions, I have opinions and that's it, there's nothing to relax about.

I just disagree with you that the "whole" situation is sad. F*** Wil and his problems. We all have them. He has no business stealing money from people - period.

Couldnt agree with you more. Will has been doing this sort of thing for years on this forum. He's a thief. Not "he got in over his head" or he "had a run of bad luck". He's a lying thief. He ripped me off a few yeas ago and Im out over $100. Screw him, hes got no sympathy from me.

Ditto that .

This is really sad and something that seldom happens on Blade Forums!!!
I wasn't involved in any of this but I think I might be able to help you guys out a little. I saved some of the pictures that were posted of the grinder parts and the finished grinder. It would not be difficult to blow the pix up to the correct size and print them and make poster board patterns that you could use to cut out the steel parts or have them cut out at a welding shop. The steel wouldn't cost too much and you might be able to find it at a recycle place.
If anyone would like me to post the pictures in this thread, just say so and I'll get it done!!!

Post 'em up...I would be interested in putting them in CAD and perhaps share the CAD files.

This could be cool. Wonder if one of the guys that actually got one of these would be willing to verify dimensions?

Jake

I would LOVE a CAD of this with all the dimensions. That way when I'm able to get some money I'll just go over down the road to a tool and die place near my house and get it cut out. If anything I'll at least have a drawing of my $575 grinder. Thanks guys. Your the best. I am still going to save up for a KMG further down the road.

Not to change the subject and hope I'm not violating rules... There's a set of .pdf plans with dimensions and parts list on Don Fogg's Site for one of the earliest versions of the NWG, well at least there used to be.

Has anyone here contacted the Scioto County Sheriffs Off. besides me?
Reason for asking is that it has been over a month and I cannot get any info. from them. Not even if this has been assigned a case # or if they contacted Wil yet. I did talk to a captain that said they were working on it and that I was not the only one that had filed on Wil.
Any news?

Hell if it will help anyone who got screwed I can probably cad the parts just off the photos. Should not be hard, anyone interested. You can then have them cut at your local steelyard or anyone else who has a computer controlled laser or waterjet cutter.
