2008 Knifemakers Christmas Gift Exchange! (2nd Annual)

Mine,s finished, wish i had a Digicam so i could post it. My wife says its her favorite of the ones ive done, its my fav too. Im gonna make another for myself.

Mine gets HT today, and should be done by the end of the week.

I could have had it done two weeks ago but I decided to wait till I got my HT oven.

I will post up my pix after Christmas, I don't want my guy to get it and have a "seen it" feeling.

I've almost finished hand sanding the first side of the blade of mine.
This always takes longer than I expect it to. You think I'd learn by now...

Just came in from the shop after gluing up the scales:thumbup:Tomorrow I get to finish it up :D and then start the sheath:yawn:

I'm way behind on mine as well, and I feel terrible about it. I don't know if I can get it done by Christmas. -Matt-

That's sweet, Eric! Love the box elder and the angle flat on the butt. Nice sheath, also!

I was planning to get more done this weekend, but I got a frikkin terrible cold. Normally I just walk around with a cold for a few, but this is a rotten and powerful bug. It's almost like my teeth have headaches:thumbdn:. I'm going to have to burn some midnight oil I'm afraid, but I will make it happen. I hope...:o

Gaaa!!!....So nearly finished and,yup you guessed it-I put a freakin' ding in the blade:grumpy:

How deep is the nick? You might be able to polish most of it out and then do some decorative file work on the spine to get the rest.
