2010 BF knife

Mine arrived yesterday, safe and sound.:) I'll get some pic's up later once I get a chance.

Got mine today. I got somewhat of a lemon with respect to the shield. It's still a good knife that will get some quality pocket time -- luck of the draw, I guess. If anyone would like to post my pictre of it, send me your email and I'll send you the pic. Again, it's a small flaw that will obviously not impact performance, but it is a blemish none the less...

Mine arrived today:thumbup: this has been a REALLY tough week so this knife has been a shining star during a dark time.

Thanks again to all involved in this PROJECT!!;)

Got mine on Monday. I'm pretty pleased with it. Thanks for the hard work guys and gals!

Just got mine today. It is sweet. Stout springs, dark ebony, useful blade shapes and equal end, what is not to like :). Love the pattern and thanks to all the people who contributed

ea42, waynorth, IVANKERLEY you deserve a very big THANK YOU for the 2010 BF Moose. Mine arrived today and its even better than I expected. The photos don't do it justice. Much bigger than I thought it'd be and man, are the blades hard to open. This is one stout knife.

BTW, if I missed anyone else who helped put this together, my apologies and a thanks to you too.

One thing’s for sure – I have unleashed the most thoughtful and eager “make-it-right-crew” in the land by remarking my knife wasn’t perfect. Gents – thanks for doing back-flips to try to make things right. To be honest, I appreciate your efforts and offers, but I might just keep it as-is. I’ll sleep on it and let you know ---- but I also think everyone here should know (of find confirmation for what they already knew) that the folks behind this project are “stand-up” to the extreme. This is the very essence of what makes the Traditional Forum great.

Thanks again.

How's about some pix?

Anthony

Just loaded the camera with new batteries and the thing is acting up. Now it's too dark. I think the batteries I just put in arebad. there cheapo's. I gotta fly outa here to Yuma Sunday so I'm busy with that too.

Getting ready to leave for the day and I'm sitting here admiring my BFC 2010 moose. This is one stout knife with thick blades. It's a heavy duty workhorse to be sure.

I just went down to our road-side mail box 35-minutes ago and my knife was there. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's efforts on this project.

EDIT: Promised pictures:

The overall fit and finish is good. No gaps between the liners and springs, etc.. The pull for both blades is 6 to 7. The final polishing could have been better -- "make that SHOULD have been better".

Thanks again to everyone involved.

Mine arrived yesterday. SWMBO says it is perfect. I won't see it until I get back home. It will be a fantastic Christmas gift.
