2010 Fishing Season PIC Thread

a pic of the 3.5lb crappie i caught 2 years ago.. Ill find the other pics in a bit

I went back yesterday evening because of the "Pictures or it didnt happen clause". Second cast on the sassy shad and a BAM! a nice channel

Then I could catch no more on the jig. I snagged a shad and cut the sides off.

Put it on the jig head and BAM! caught a drum.

Then another

and another...When I would run out of bait Id snag another shad.

Caught about a dozen ,darkness set in and I ran out of bait. Could not snag any more shad.
Before retiring I got a shot of the moon rising. A beautiful night on the Mississippi.

That was a couple of fish I caught on the last day of my trip to Flamingo this spring. I had a bunch more pics on my camera, but my camera got lost on the 3rd day of my trip


My cousin just went Lobstering off of Key Largo last week and has been rubbing my nose in it all week.
I am planning a bone fishing trip in the keys this September with my cousin. I hope it materializes..

I can see the resemblance also, and this Tripple Tail hit a jig just as they do as well

I was catching some decent sized yellow perch and chain pickerel this weekend while canoeing, and these walleye/northen pike (bigger, badder cousins) photos have me green with envy :thumbup:

looks good.. we used to cook mud cats (what we call the flat heads around here) when they are that little. personnally i wasnt a fan of their taste. we cooked them camping as well. they have the color of flat heads but its hard to tell bc of their mouth. checking for width.

From earlier this summer. Lil speckle trout from the mtns of NC. They are really some kinda char but we call them speckles.
