Thank you Campbell! I voted cap lifter. This knife will be special for me. I have personally spoken to Andy, Campbell, and Charlie in regards to this year's knife, and it will be of great sentimental value to me.

To all who say "Thank you", I say you are welcome. I get more out of BF than I give that is for sure.

Voted for cap lifter. In for 2 no matter what the final vote is.

Caplifter (of course ;)).
Thanks Team for heading the way on this!

BTW put me in for two.

I will have one if PEN is chosen.Certainly:thumbup:

The others? Probably not, but I might reconsider.

I voted for the pen blade, as I've no use for the caplifter. Good to see this one will have NS liners. Not sure I've seen that from GEC yet. I'm in for one knife regardless of what the poll determines.

I'm in with the pen secondary blade.
If others I will think about it.

Thanks you for the effort.
Cheers

Thank you all for the effort of putting the 2011 BF knife together!

Despite being a big fan of punch blades you got me convinced that the caplifter is the better choice for this knife.

Did we consider to have one side of the caplifter sharpened?? Would this be possible? Between the caplifter and the screwdriver tip?
This could be an extremely useful additional edge just like the punch is. ;)

I'm in for one whatever it will be :)

Thanks again

seems the lifter will be the choice huh?
would still prefer the pen as for me it's more useful but the lifter is a nice touch too and makes it more unique

That was my thought as I voted. I don't need a cap lifter but I do use a screw driver a lot. That and the fact that it becomes something very unique swayed my vote.

I figure if GEC is going to use this pattern on later knives, chances are they will put a pen knife on their production version. Then I can grab that.

I voted for the cap lifter. I drink "Stella Artois" beer imported from Belgium and they do not come with a twist-off cap but rather an old fashioned pressed on cap soooooooooooo, I need a cap lifter!! I'm not a snob though as I enjoy the heck out of a Bud or Miller in a can or whatever else it comes in. Oh heck, I like beer no matter what vessel it comes in.

I know I beotched in the first round about the options and a bail but y'all shoulda known I'd be in for at least one no matter what the options.

Thanks for the hard work guys!!!!

I'm in for one.

I prefer the caplifter, since it has a screwdriver. Any of the alternatives is ok with me though.

Seems like kind of a Catch-22 there. Don't vote if you aren't going to buy one, so if the secondary blade is a deal breaker, you don't get any say on choosing it. Caplifter secondary makes it a lot like a TL-29 to me. I have several of those and never carry any of them, I just never warmed up to the pattern. I guess since I voted (for the pen) I'll be stuck with another knife I'll never carry when the caplifter wins. It won't be the first time, probably won't be the last either.

The caplifter is growing on me, for the screwdriver aspect. Can't y'all open a beer with a rock, lighter, stick, etc? I might have to post an instructional video. :D
