I'm in for at least two, no matter which secondary blade is chosen, three if I can save enough pennies between now and payment time.
 
Glad the caplifter has won :) I voted for that too and plan to sharpen the edge between the lifter and tip on mine so I get a short staright flat blade edge there too.

We'll take 2 knives this year, same as last.

Sorry if I missed it but were there poll threads for blade steel and handle material, or did you guys just decide that yourselves? Just curious :)

I kept an eye on the Trad forum but not close enough maybe.

Great choices either way.

Previous years it has been delivered around end of the year and beginning of the next.

If everyone thats voted in this poll buys 1 or multiples it will be a very good year, I'm really glad GEC took this on because it'll be my first GEC (and it'll come with a factory sharp edge lol). :D:thumbup:

Hi esevato - The project goal is to have the knives in members hands by Christmas Day, 2011. There are no guarantees, of course, but the project is progressing nicely. :thumbup:

I'll take one. I have a roll full of GEC knives...they are great!!! I'd rather have a pen blade but the cap lifter would be fine too...just so it's not a punch :-)
 
I voted caplifter, but whatever wins is fine with me.

My vote was for the Punch blade.

I will purchase at least one knife, if and only if the Punch blade is ultimately chosen.. Otherwise, if the Punch blade is not chosen, I'll pass this time around.

Ok guys, we are going to leave this thread open for 5-6 more days. It looks like the caplifter is the favorite, but you never know. May be enough last mean pen lovers to change the tide.

Regardless, if you are going to purchase a 2011 BF Knife, please make sure you at least vote in the poll (not a requirement to do a post). This will help us determine total knife cost and it will help GEC to give them a solid estimate of quantity.

You will only take the number of votes for a cap lifter as an estimate?
 
I voted for the Pen blade.

However I am in for 2 as usual.

No. Many have indicated that they voted for a pattern other than the caplifter, but still plan on buying this year's knife anyways.
