Itching to get into the ranks of Traditional collector. This will make a nice addition.

Cap-lifter, just because.

I"ve added a picture that shows the color and jigging pattern of the handles that we are shooting for

I voted pen, but in for 1 regardless.
I REALLY hope they make it with the secondary in front of the main so both nicks are on the mark side, like this one:

Whenever people on this forum have voiced a preference, this pattern seems to be the favorite.

I vote caplifter. I'm in for 1 --- though, I wish we could have rotated back to SS this year. That said, the (1095) 2010 forum knife has become one of my favorite companions.

I know this is probably stupid since this is a special order but are you going to do any secondary orders?

I really like the idea, and looks of the pictures provided I am just not sure if I want or could spend $100 without seeing the finished product.

Also, is the knife going to have both blades/options coming out of one end like the drawing of the three types of secondary blade options that is on the first post or come out of the ends like the picture provided above and now on the first post?

Thanks

No...no secondary orders. Andy, Chris and I are devoting a lot of our time to this project, and once it is done, we will move on with our lives. This is a limited run. But I can promise you that the knife will be of excellent quality and there will be no defects. Me, Andy and Chris will inspect each knife before we ship it to the forum members, and if we see anything that is not to our liking, we will send it back to GEC to be fixed before it goes to you. And the picture with the jigged bone was only provided to show what the handle color and jigging pattern will look like. The knife will be one of the knives shown in the designs.

Man, ordering a knife that will be inspected by a knife freak? Sweet! Seriously, thanks y'all.

That is what I thought, I just wanted to run it by to be certain. I haven't been around long enough to know about this or who is doing this.

Okay, it looks like it is going to turn out great and it being hand checked is very comforting.
Still unsure about it, I will have to think it over even though it is very tempting.

Thanks, the service you guys are doing is very appreciated.

I voted for the pen but will order 2 no matter what secondary is chosen. With the pen will be more traditional, but with the caplifter will be somewhat unique. Great looking knife either way. Thanks to the guys doing the work.

Seems like kind of a Catch-22 there. Don't vote if you aren't going to buy one, so if the secondary blade is a deal breaker, you don't get any say on choosing it. Caplifter secondary makes it a lot like a TL-29 to me. I have several of those and never carry any of them, I just never warmed up to the pattern. I guess since I voted (for the pen) I'll be stuck with another knife I'll never carry when the caplifter wins. It won't be the first time, probably won't be the last either.

I voted for the pen.
It seems that the casplifter is the majority.

I also have serious doubts about a caplifter
I will let the guys know when the vote closes on if I am in.

I vote for the pen.

I will definitely buy one of whatever is offered.

These guys are knife cranks. I have only dealt with Campbell. If he says it is perfect; it is perfect!!

The best thing about BF is the great number of truly honorable and very picky and critical knife enthusiasts.

That's good to know, as this knife will be my 1st forum knife. Also glad to know what the jigging will look like, as I recall being impressed by that style when Waynorth posted his example. Appreciate all the work you folks are doing to get this done.
