This knife looks awesome. Never owned a kershaw, but I figure this one is as good a place as any to start. Any news on how many of these things are left for grabs?
 
Just got off the phone with Thomas, he's expecting the G10 for these to come in today and expecting to deliver by the first week of November.

Since Ibizian feels swindled by this, I've cancelled his order and refunded his money.

So the earlier picture of the blue G10 was just a sample of what he is getting today, or is what's coming in slightly different?
 
No worries about when it will be here. Looking forward to getting mine! :D

All of these whiners just need to learn that life is not always instantly gratifying. :p

Never said I felt swindled but thank you for the refund. Oh and by the way, come clean and tell these people the truth. I got an email from Thomas this morning, they have not even started on these knives yet. You keep telling these people that they haven't arrived yet but you fail to mention that the factory has not even produced one of them off the line yet. Have jot even started them yet!!! Maybe not swindled but you sure mis-lead and strung these kind people along. So again, thank you for the refund and I will most certainly go elsewhere. The people I have dealt with aside who were great, some of the people here just are not very honest and I hate dishonesty, especially when money is at hand.

Open your eyes people and stop being sheep blindly following what you are being told as gospel cause it ain't. No wonder they got so mad at me for asking questions.. I found out the truth they were trying to hide from you....

Don't let the door hit you in the ass. We have somehow successfully been able to run this site for 14 years without a single member being defrauded by Spark or the moderation staff.
You can take your drama and accusations to a site that appreciates spurious allegations. Don't forget to take your tinfoil hat.

Nobody has been strung along. I don't recall that Spark ever said that these had already been started or not. KAI has stated they would deliver first week of November. They can easily get all 500 done in the time between now and then. Again, buh-bye. :grumpy:
 
Hey, all I know is that I'm happy to support this site, and I'm getting a cool knife in the bargain.

It's not like I don't have any knives to play with while I'm waiting for this one.:D

So, for me, it's looking like a great B-day for me, in November. The Traditional Bladeforums knife will be done, the Tony Bose/Case Lanny's Clip will be arriving, and this beauty will be on it's way. It's awesome, considering I've had all of this paid for, and I don't have to scrimp and save for anything.

Boy howdy, you sure showed me by... saying I said things I never did? We had an estimate of 3rd quarter. The project didn't meet the estimate time. Big deal. They haven't started on the knives yet because they've been waiting on materials. Again, big deal.

I haven't given anyone any status updates on knives that have been made, not made, numbers, or anything at all. I haven't given any production updates. I haven't said "oh they will be here next week" or any definitive time frames. Feel free to quote where I have. I've just relayed the information I've gotten.

The funniest part about this is that you placed your order on Sept 14th.

Daniel - I agree, looking forward to the Traditional as well. I managed to pick up 2 of them somehow. :eek:

yeah i hovered over it and noticed that it was to log out. I've got a traditional on order as well, I think I'm going to order another skyline tomorrow.

Anyone who has paid attention knows that knife delivery times are always a guessing game. You read all the time on manufacturers forums how everyone is waiting on pins and needles for the next greatest thing. This knife will show when it is ready and I am sure I will be pleased as it is the first forum knife that I have ever bought.
