2014 BladeForums Knife Gallery

Mine showed up yesterday, nice. The pull was too heavy for me (a solid 7 and the blade couldn't be plucked open) so my son has it now :)

Got mine yesterday & it is AWESOME. Thanks sent out to ALL involved in putting this together. Special thanks to John Lloyd, Charlie, Barry, & the GEC craftspeople (they really look to have outdone themselves on this one). My meager cell phone pics do this WONDERFUL knife NO justice:

Mine came yesterday. Mighty fine, mighty fine. The folks at GEC really outdid themselves with this one. I especially like the shield and as-ground finish.

I still can't believe this knife came in at $76 shipped. Only possible because it was a labor of love for so many folks. Thank you all!

That's a beauty! Love the warm color in that stag. I agree, shield and blade finish are both spot on and the pricing was just crazy good. So much stag donated by Mr Lloyd to make that happen, don't know how he was able to do that for all of us.

Thanks. I really lucked out with this one. Though they're all pretty nice, I ended up with one of the few I would have chosen had I been given the chance to cherry pick from the entire lot.

Wow, Kamagong that is one honey of a knife! Mighty fine indeed!

I need to go home and check the mailbox, lol!!! :)

Very nice kamagong.

Again, thanks to all who made this happen. Even though I mentioned a small negative earlier, it is a great knife and a great project. I do really appreciate it. I love traditional knives.

Thanks! I'm going after the other one with a belt sander tonight (gotta make it mine, after all).

I'm in the minority here. Never cared for stag (still don't), but I love everything else about this project - so at least 1 will be a keeper, no-matter what I have to do to it!

I'm part of that minority as well. My example arrived yesterday and it is gorgeous, as far as stag goes. But the heretic in me wonders how great this pattern would be with slim micarta or jigged bone scales....

Some really great examples posted from everyone,if you don't see something you like it dose not exist.
Thanks to all involved in making this happen.
Got this one in yesterday, texture & coloring of the covers are pretty symmetrical. Also the profile has a little flair at the end for a nice grip with
the little finger. Edge was sharp enough to take some hair off the forearm. Very pleased it was definitely worth the wait.

If it's been posted already, I apologize, but what is the significance of the 'three P circle' is that a secret honorary admission to the 'order of Primble' ? It looks really cool, like some kind of G-4 classified insignia from the CIA or somewhere--just wondering...

Fish, the only knives that get the "Circle P" are those issued to traditional forum members who have been judged by their peers to be Perfect Practitioners of Procrastination!

Got mine in today. # of 'em. I'm not in a position to post pics or I surely would. Beauties, all 3. Thanks to everyone who worked to make this years forum knife possible. I couldn't be happier with these.

I believe the 3-P etch indicates that it is the first production of this particular pattern - in this case, the #77 frame. Premier Pattern Production

The triple P etch is put on all the knives in the first run of a particular pattern.

I would have been on board for either of those choices.

Mine came in today. About a 6 pull for me, sharp enough to slice paper, and nicely matched stag :)
