I did not get one because I was busy and missed the Boat but if there are 1 or 2 that need a home when the Dust covers I have a nice place for it to rest in for it has to be felt like it was left out.! lol
Very good looking bunch of beautiful well made Jack's and you all are the lucky ones.!*************************
Thanks.

memo to self: Monday morning get out piano wire and stinger strips for mail box deployment.Cancel that. Leave all left over birthday grog out for my mate the postie:)
Looking at this thread is a form of Masochism for me. Oh the pain, the pain....somehow I kind of like it.
May I make a request?
Anyone who lives in CONUS ,Canada,New Zealand,Europe inc Gt Britain,Scandinavia,Asia, maybe African nations and most specifically the Pacific NE please stop saying how quick your mail is.
I ask this merely because I am in the Pacific SW and will be among the last 5 nay 3 recipients-as usual.:(
If i was a gambling man (which I'm not) I would tip mid November before mine show up.
but hey-good things come to he who waits.

I'm in the same boat, down here in Victoria.... So at least if I see you get yours first, I'll know mine's close by! :D

OK it must be me. Take a look at this. Is it something that would concern you? A hairline crack running from the pin to the bolster. I'll try to get better pictures later.

My first one arrived yesterday. It reminds me of Mammoth Ivory. I am really pleased with it.

I have two more coming, hopefully today or tomorrow. Thanks.

it wouldn't worry me, it looks only superficial, and it is only on the pin holding the slab to the liner, rather than the more important central pin. Others with more knife making knowledge will be able to give a more informed comment.

@yablanowitz - to me that stag looks great, I'm sure someone here will take it off your hands for you.

I stopped at the PO this am to check my box. My coat came in but no knife. I gotta take my boys to the vet tomorrow, have to wait until Monday to check. My PO ladies take good care of me, I can't ask them to go on knife watch 2014.

Sitting on pins and needles...

I like that one Mark, hope the other two are as nice.

Best regards

Got mine, and I love it. I want to declare for the record that I was wrong, and I'm glad the single blade won out rather than the two blade. With the thickness of the stag, this is still such a light slim feeling knife. Thanks to all involved

It really doesn't feel as thick as it looks in this picture

The only little issue is this sharp peak on the pile side. I may sand it down a bit if I find it uncomfortable

very nice one there Rachel. i'm very happy with mine, but love the depth and contrast of the figuring on yours.
