2015 Forum Knife. A Work in Progress!

Thanks for the pics. Lookin' good. I love drawn swedges..............

You better not have steered my wrong! I just ordered me one strictly off of a good faith trust.
You won't have trouble selling it for what you paid in here if you don't like it. I doubt that happens though.

Yippee!

It looks like there's a lot of light/dark variation in the wood. I'm looking forward to seeing how different everyone's knives look when we get them in hand and post pictures. Takes me back to comparing our Stag Jacks last year.

Aw! I love stag. I wish I was in this part of the forum last year.

I really like the drawn swedge in that pic. Looking forward to the finished product.

Maybe you shouldn't buy one.

Lol. I'm only being funny. I've been in this section of the forums (been on here with various names for over 10 years) for two days and I've already had tons of plans for patterns and handle materials of knives to buy. I don't know much about traditional companies, knife patterns and sizes so that's why I asked about the value of this knife. I know nothing of value or quality of traditionals. But I bought it because I've got to start somewhere and what better than to buy a yearly knife. :) hope you all didn't take my joking got serious!

It's hard to read a wink sometimes, and a joking tone can be misunderstood in a forum post.

This didn't read like you were joking. I think you'll be happy with it. If you're just getting into traditionals, heck by next year at this time you may have 20.:D

Yep a wink can be dangerous, I winked at a girl and now been married for 35 years:)

Just curious - is this CSC first pinned-shield knife?

Yes it is, and it took some serious negotiation! Lol!

Hey Suzuki, judging by your previous posts I figured you were joking, I think you'll really like it, definitely something you don't see every day. These guys are too wound up from all of this forum's serious knife overload, I think it's time we all sit back and chill with a round of beers. (if only we could!)

It wouldn't be the porch without a few grumpy old guys yelling at you to get off their lawn! :)

Coming from the guy who performed the negotiations that says a lot!! Thanks again Eric for all of your work on this, it's been my pick from the beginning (well since a small punchnut/GunPunch idea of mine didn't get picked 😝) and it is great to see everything so far along! I can only imagine how satisfying it is for you to see everything like this!

This was the best part of a bad day! I'm excited, because I'm getting the best scales put in mine!! I'm pretty sure I see them already, nice and swirly, dark and light chocolate tones with a glimmer in sunlight........
