Woo! Great news! I loved my ATR when I had one. They fixed the clip, which was not great on the original. It's also good they're gonna use some American steels in their Japanese knives.

I liked the all stainless original, but g10 will be cool also.

I might be in the minority here but I really like the Introvert. It looks like a great utility piece.

I was intrigued by it as well, it being a weird design and all. I applaud Sal and Eric taking a chance here, but I think it's a fad knife and won't last. As I listened to Eric talk about it, I kept wondering to myself, "what would I use it for other than for conversation?"
I dunno, I'm probably wrong, but the introvert looks more like a Cold Steel product than a Spyderco product.

It seems also Spyderco is having a lot of fun with CF these days. I was wondering if there would ever be a CF Slysz Bowie.

Darn it. Spyderco needs to stop producing knives I want. That video made me want the mantra in addition to a bunch of others. The minuteman is a foregone conclusion, I'll order it the day it becomes it available. I may show a little restraint relative to the others ... although my history would suggest otherwise.

I've never held an ATR, but it looks pretty cool with the cobra hood, holes, and compression lock.

It's a cool and unusual design. I have an all stainless steel one from ten years ago and this new one is pretty faithful to that old design.

I'm actually looking forward to the new Rubicon, seems like it will have a more utilitarian focus at a better price.

ATR? ATR? A-flippin-TR?

I'ma buy one so fast. Cannot 'splain how excited I am for that. It'll head right to Steve for some shrunk, solid, OD canvas micarta scales.

THIS is my knaf.

That's kind of what I was thinking. This would look so rad with some Micarta scales! :)

I'm with you, Phenn. I missed the original ATRs, but now it's coming back...and I can get my grubby hands on one!!! :D I'm very happy about the Cobra Hood and G10, but at the same time sad about the absence of Ti (at least for now) and the Integral Compression Lock. S30V fine for me, but not outstanding.

But the point is......: It's. Coming. Back.

I see a Pattada and a Minuteman in my future 110%. I don't think I'll need a Sage 5 though. These will be my 4th and 5th Spydercos!
