2017 John White MS Memorial BEST BOWIE Thread - Vote for FINALISTS!!

Roger, aside from the overall beauty of his Bowie, Jacinto's checkering is world class. Does he do gunstocks as well?

Get those submissions in gents!

If entries slow to a trickle we will move to the selection of finalists some time tomorrow.

But I KNOW there are many more bowie out there deserving of nomination!

In the morning, I will go through my archives and post a BOATLOAD of fantastic Bowies, many from my Blade Show thread....

Unless someone beats me to them... (Hint hint! :D)

Thanks to those who have already done so. The MAKERS thank you!

What the heck, I didn't make much this year that would count... but I'll throw these in just for fun.

Thank you Coop for kick-starting the maker contributions. And thank you makers, for posting and more importantly, for making those awesome knives!

Ben - damn, dude - you did the bowie genre proud this year.

Salem - can't tell you how much I dig that Khyber knife.

A few more to add to the mix - and thanks to Coop for capturing these beauties!

1. Russ Andrews Persian

A Best Bowie thread without a Russ Andrews knife would just be wrong. Thankfully, we have this elegant Persian piece to make things right.

2. Don Hanson III Ivory Fighter

Ivory, damascus, sleek lines, flawless execution - all the DHIII hallmarks are present and accounted for.

3. John Horrigan Multibar Bowie

I would love to own a Horrigan piece one day. A guy can dream.

4. Jason Knight Barsoom Fighter

If the primary goal is to have a knife that is absolutely fierce, Jason should be on your short list.

5. Steve Randall Stag Bowie

Amber stag and ladder damascus just might be my fave bowie combination of all time. This is a sweet example.

Grab your belt and pull up your trousers... I have a LOT to show you!

First things first: Yes, this IS promotional. I promise a broad service. It benefits YOU the viewers, the MAKERS who have spent $$$ looking to make their work look as good as possible, AND to get extra exposure. And it benefits me and my family business. Are we good? Thank you, if so.
