How about the "swell bar" like on the beer scout knives but plain without lettering.
The diamond is killer... you never see that one offered.I'm really liking that diamond!!
I'm right there with you... .250 BAI'm batting .250. But that's okay.![]()
You weren't alone. If a few can say it enough times in enough places, it seems like a movement. But, I assure you, where we can provide options - we will.
If you read the whole thread, you will realize that what you propose is not an option.First,
Thanks for taking this project on Mike, very organized and well run!
I understand you only have options where you have options.
Not sure if I am reading this wrong or if there is a movement, but count me in on a different blade if we can force an option so to speak. Just about ANY different blade. We had a single Sheepsfoot blade already ̶r̶̶u̶̶i̶̶n̶ adorn one forum knife and personally I hope we don't do it again. Especially on a knife this big.
And honestly, don't we order enough knives to warrant building them with two blades to choose from?
I will admit I don't know if it changes any other aspect of the building process, but how hard could it be to build 200 or so with a Sheepsfoot and 200 or so with the a Clip or Spear?
There was a clip blade offered in the original poll... It lost.
Fox knives had a clip blade in the pic.I don't remember that John. Please post the link.

I guess my point is that the GEC offering was always and only a sabre grind sheepsfoot, but there was a folder offered with a clip blade by another company. I voted for my preference. That's not exactly a fair contest ...![]()

Nothing was "shoved down our throat." It was never going to be build-the-knife completely from scratch, and it was made clear early on. I thought you indicated recently you would stop complaining. My suggestion is to not buy the knife, not vote, not comment, and not watch the thread if you hate the knife so much. "Always with the negative waves, Moriarty." It's gonna be a mother-beautiful knife!Oh, that's right. My feeble brain forgot. However, there was never a clip blade offered for the GEC knife and the blade for the GEC knife was shoved down our throat by the dealer and manufacture.
