Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

Just want to confirm, are these shipping out to the buyers straight from the GEC factory? Or do they go to the dealer in bulk, and then he mails them out?

These will be going to Mike at Collectors Knives, and than shipped to everyone.
 
I am so happy I got on this one at the very last minute only a few weeks ago.
(back in April I was working towards my minimum post count when the door closed on me)

I have missed the polls and the whole process of arriving at the final design.

Now that one of these will be mine I would like to find out .

Any links to the polls/selection process thread ? ( used search feature but could not find it )

Gotta break some eggs to make an omelette! Respect and appreciation to BladeForums, The Porch, Mike and everyone else involved and or cheering from the sidelines! Heck, even a shoutout to Meako! A beautiful and worthy result. I’ll stop here since I think I’ve already exceeded my quota of explanation marks for one post
 
These look better than I could have hoped. Thanks to everyone that put in the time and effort to make these things come together. I hope to be more involved in the whole process next year if/when it happens.

I agree 100%. I have a close rendering of what the Black Jack is going to look like as my Avatar and its clear they will make a great set. ✌

Why just this morning a Blackduck...the Wombarra in native lingo crossed my path...and last week a noble White Bellied Sea Eagle winged gracefully across the sky right infront of my bus....I see a totemic bird rising from the misty swamp and naming my knife...The Eastern Swamp Hen.

Hopefully posting those links doesn’t bring up too many bad memories. :DSeems like the consensus is positive so far after seeing the pictures. I know I’m excited for it.
