Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

Mine finally made it to Canada yesterday, after almost a week, lol. Tracking says 3-7 days for delivery. Still hoping to get it before Christmas :) I'm glad to see these rolling in. Keep the pictures coming everyone!

Does the single star under Bladeforums signify something? I know there have been dots and stars in the past, but not sure if they mean something. Thanks!

To me, that's a lot of Spam and not simply enough to try out.

That is precisely why I keep Spam in the house although it isn't hurricanes here.
I see the first batch of knives are being delivered. I'm in line for Friday. We'll see. By the way, there is no way this knife will be used to slice spam any time in the near future. Maybe after some wear..... who knows? But if it is like other forum knives, it won't get used as I use other stuff and see no point in just using something to use it.

Yes, the single star means 2019 manufacture. The 2010 forum knife had 10 stars (or maybe they were dots) and 1 star is removed each year. Very similar to the dating system that Case uses.

That's why I grabbed two knives as usual.
One will be slicing some mystery meat for dinner (I was hoping lunch but it hasn't been delivered yet) and the other will remain in the tube.
Always fun trying to decide which specimen to choose.:thumbsup:
 
My BF 2019 knife arrived this afternoon.... Thank you to all my fellow knife knuts for design, Mike at CK for all his hard work, the staff at GEC for a superb job of manufacturing, Meako for his wordsmithing and the Moderators for keeping track of it all....

Went to my office and it wasn’t there today so hopefully they scanned it wrong and will redeliver tomorrow. This would be a horrible package to lose
