Mine showed up earlier today, slightly outside the 12pm to 1pm estimated delivery window, but I’m not complaining.

Mine showed up today, I was quite surprised at how light it is compared to how heavy and large it looks. Very nice pull too.

Also I wanted to note, that for all the theatrics around the back label...I for one am quite disappointed.

Here I was expecting a paragraph of meako's brand of impenetrable Aussie slang and some obscure pop culture references and we ended up with something his grammar teacher would have been proud to read.

For shame sir.

I, too, thought the knife felt surprising light given its size (and that beefy sheepsfoot).

I thought meako did a great job on the blurb, and was only slightly disappointed that there was there was no mention of Porchenberg, or torch-wielding mobs, or too-small-hats.

Got mine in today. Good work Canada Post! My shield is a little scratched and there's a scratch on the non-presentation side of the blade but the covers are dark and beautiful ... and it's mine, so I love it. It will be in the collection forever! Thanks again to everyone involved, truly a beautiful timeless piece!

Mine got to Fayetteville last night at 8:56 pm, left enroute to Swansboro at 9:34 pm. Ours could be riding together! At any rate it should deliver about 2:00 pm today (if my RR delivery lady runs her regular hours). OH

They probably did ride a ways together, mine was sent to Lagrange NC from Fayetteville. Got home about 15 minutes ago,and mine was in the mailbox waiting Instantly became my favorite knife and aint even cut anything with it lol. Of course its as about perfect as man can make something, even though I did tweak the edge a bit already. I'm not a fan of polished edges,I like a bit more aggressive bite to mine. Few passes on a fine diamond hone the a couple on a ceramic rod and its just right. Pics tomorrow as my phone takes horrible indoor pics.

Thanks. The brown wood-grain really shows in the sun, but it's hard to photograph because the steel is so bright and shiny.

Nice wood on that one Rachel - brown streaks and all as you said you like them.

And I already downloaded the Aussie slang add on for Google translate

My 2 arrived today . Every thing was fine Except . Walk & Talk are IMO a 5 or 6 on each knife . F & F , Centering , Flush on Opened & Closed is great on each one . The Except is the African Blackwood color . Neither one is what I would call Black . I expected that and ordered them anyhow . They both are still very nice knives .

The shield looks dented , but is not .
