Evidently far too many :D how people could eat that tinned muck in anything other than a total emergency is beyond me, just look at the colour...and how's the smell of that jellied horror? :poop:

LOL.....!!

Sock it to ‘em, Will

I’d have to be very pi..... err, inebriated to eat that stuff :p

The only tinned wonder from that period in time worthy of olfactory pleasure and culinarily delights was........Ye Olde Oak Ham

Got mine just a little while ago. Very pleased with it: fine fit and finish, spring flush at half-stop, centered blade, reasonably sharp (although I touched it up a little on ceramic rods, perfect pull, awesome appearance. (Tried unsuccessfully to light a match with it, but don't plan to be doing that with the knife anyway--if I've got the match I've got the matchbox to strike it on.) I like the button, and both the front AND back labels. Great job, Meako!

Too dark for good pictures, and I'm too tired anyway. Pics tomorrow maybe here and the new thread. Spam pics on Sunday in Rachel's Spam thread.

I LOVE this knife!

I wasn't sure about this knife when we the people designed it. I thought it was going to be a nail breaking brick of a knife and I was completely wrong. It's going to be one hell of a user. Might even rival 2013 as my new favorite forum knife.

I feel like its half as heavy as it looks, love the shield, and I got lucky with a pretty solidly black one. The pile side is a little streaky, but I'm happy with it. Tried to get a pic comparing it to ebony, but I'm going to have to wait until the sun comes back out.

I do wish it sunk into the frame some more, not much room in the kick for adjustment. I also think it would have looked KILLER with steel liners and NS pins.

finally took those bad boys out

Gec really put together a nice knife for us. Mine came today and I'm so happy with everything about it. Nice dark covers, flush in all 3... bolster transitions perfect.the packaging and button are stellar. Getting to be small part of the voting and keeping up with the thread...having something in hand is so cool. Thanks to the guys who dedicated so much time to the creation and the orders and the turbulence that was a part of it. Great community here and I'm proud to have this knife!

I absolutely love this year's BF knife. Many of my boxes were checked when the details were decided, but seeing and feeling it in hand; an absolute home run!

Thank you to all of the terrific people that made this 2019 BF possible. I'm truly indebted to you.

Here's the 2019 BF next to my all-time favorite, the 2015 77 Sheepfoot Barlow in AB.
