Good things come to those who wait. I wasn't sure I'd be keeping it but now I'm not sure I can let it go. Rich African Blackwood that is a deep rich brown mixed with black. The backspring is flush in all 3 positions. The pull is about a 5 and a little soft but I attribute that to being new. For its size it feels well balanced and I can almost feel the usefulness of the blade. And, I got TWO pins.View attachment 1255101
If it didn't have GEC's "patented" sunken pin it would be a near '10.'I love the grain swirl pile side next to the spring pin.
Sorry to hear that, Taylor, but why wait? I'd send it back if it had blade wobble.Dang it...most likely gonna be sending my forum knife back to GEC....lil bit of blade wobble that is starting to get worse....shoot! I will carry it for the next week and see if it gets worse.
True. I'm gonna give it another oiling in the pivot sometimes that works. It had a super gritty action when I received it. I cleaned it out and it must have had something in the pivot that got knocked loose and started the wobble. All I know is GEC's warranty work is always great.Sorry to hear that, Taylor, but why wait? I'd send it back if it had blade wobble.
Wow. It is disgusting, but there are always a few.Someone just sold their 2019 forum knife on eBay for $235. More than double what they paid for it. I'm sorry, but that disgusts me.

Always someone who takes advantage
On the upside a friend (member) who missed out got one from a fellow member $105.
More good people here than bad
