2020 GEC #62 Easy Pocket Congress and Pocket Carver Thread

I like the looks of the unicorn, and the jigged bone... which is nice, since I reserved one of each.

I'm also excited to see some of the other covers. I haven't seen any on that list that sound "meh" to me. Black micarta? I'll bet that will be very distinguished looking. Ironwood? Yep. I might have to put in some overtime, to puff up my "discretionary fund" a little bit...:D

It's an acrylic material. I believe someone in an earlier page linked a page to the material supplier if you are interested.

A white acrylic with a subtle crosshatch grain.

As far as GEC goes I only have tidioute and northwoods renditions of their patterns but with the 62 pattern I'm really hoping to get a northfield banana or blue camel. Trying to add some pizzazz to my small collection

DLT "TBD" micarta. Muslin would be cool. Kind of fried out on stag and anything jigged at this points. Mike's in black micarta will be nice but he's across the pond for most if us. BLT blue camel bone with be nice to compare to Northfield camel bone. DLT has the bulk of the sfo run on these.

On the production schedule, the shield for the Northfield camel bone knives is now listed as TBD. Hopefully they go ahead and opt for the banana. I'm not sure any of the other 62s will have me reaching for my wallet. Maybe the unicorn ivory....
