Just got a stag in a trade with a great member here

I have seen some great stag and a lot of really bad stag….like really bad. I am glad I didn’t go the random route and went with a trade for a very nice one.

Gents - I would like to think I didn't trade off my best 68 stag but Taylor had a 33 B & W Acrylic that I wanted so sometimes you got to let one go even if it hurts a little! I like to trade knives!

The stag on my example is wonderful (at least to my eyes), it does however have a lot of blade rub. On the bright side that made the decision to turn it into a user very easy!

At this point it’s Schrodinger’s stag… both beautiful and boring. Only opening the box will reveal its fate.

To my surprise it has some excellent character. I am very happy with this one. My only critique is the pen blade tip sits slightly proud allowing the pad of your finger to catch it if you push down on it, but not too bad. What a great last knife of the year for me. Thanks Mike!
