That’s actually one of the better ones I’ve seen, Charlie! Just my opinion, of course, but I like it. I couldn’t bring myself to even try for one after seeing the in process pics.My White Ow!! What there is of it!! I wonder how it would come out if I sanded it smooth??

I’m not mad at it! I think it will mellow out over time. At least it’s not obnoxiously fat.My White Ow!! What there is of it!! I wonder how it would come out if I sanded it smooth??

Well, not a stag lottery winner but I'm happy to have it.

It's still better than some of the stag being shown.
Now that's funny...Sir, put your hands in the air and step away from the sandpaper.
It looks like you have carried it for a verrrrry looooong tiiiiiiiiiime Charlie . We know that you have many pieces of Great Stag to console you .My White Ow!! What there is of it!! I wonder how it would come out if I sanded it smooth??

I'd be super happy with that stag, it looks good.
I'd be disappointed with that gap, though.
Slight visible spring gap but IMO that's not a defect on a factory knife. There has to be enough room for the spring to move both directions from the pivot.
