Buying stag pieces blindly is a bit too risky for me usually. I may have to gamble a little more often.

Dadgum! That’s a winner
Is the 72 ebony wood?
Congrats to you my friend for your very first Stag . And what a fine Stag example it is . Carry it in good health and I hope you carry it in a Slip to reduce the chance of Verdigris . Thank you for posting the photos .![]()

I am thrilled with my first example in Stag. Very cool!
There is some side to side play which I wasn’t happy about, dead solid up and down. Tbh, I’d rather have some up and down play than side to side but wow is she pretty! Absolutely thrilled with the #83 Lockback! I gotta do a group shot soon
Thank you very much sir! A slip is a must. I know just the right maker in Dirk Dillon. It is my absolute pleasure to share and enjoy everyone’s photos. The knife community is very special.Congrats to you my friend for you very first Stag . And what a fine Stag example it is . You mean like this? (CAUTION: NSFW)Well, I just received a stag one. I’ll post some pics later. I received a picture from the distributor in advance and thought to myself, ‘this may be the ugliest’ stag pattern I’ve ever purchased. Given the demand, it’s not like I had a choice in the matter.
I have a feeling that I was able to get this one in the first place as other buyers on the top of the list must have had more say in the matter, lol.
But now, I have it in hand and it is growing on me. It is thick but because it is already a small knife, it feels right. Almost has a Opinel roundness and firmness in grip than other thinner smaller traditionals. Or I’m just making excuses to like the cover on this knife![]()
I believe that’s technically referred to as a badonkadonk. You mean like this? (CAUTION: NSFW)

The more I mess with it, the more the thickness is starting to grow on me. It works on this knife due to the smaller nature of the pattern. Digging mine so far!
Only of you want to get clinical.I believe that’s technically referred to as a badonkadonk.
My stag prefers the term “full figured”I believe that’s technically referred to as a badonkadonk.
