Yeah kinda, Randy Bell over on the Facebook group responded to my comment in which I thought that this 65 may be a filler run while the shop is working on rendezvous knives. His response was “this is no filler run” then quoted the great rock band BTO saying “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet”.Do we know for sure that there will be more?
I should have been clear that I was just speaking for myself and the mouse in my pocket.Yeah kinda, Randy Bell over on the Facebook group responded to my comment in which I thought that this 65 may be a filler run while the shop is working on rendezvous knives. Thank you for the history!Wonder if the 65 is going to be the rendezvous knife and maybe that's why no production pics?

“During the oil boom days in Oil City, Ben and a lady, French Kate, set up the country’s first gambling riverboat in the middle of the Allegheny River near Parker,” said Burkett. “Being in the middle of the Allegheny River, the sheriffs of Clarion, Armstrong, or Butler Counties could not get to him as far as arresting him. He simply moved his boat into another county if he heard they were coming.”

“During the oil boom, fortunes could be made overnight, and this attracted a criminal element to Parker. One notable character of those days is Ben Hogan. He was a prizefighter, bounty jumper, and blockade runner during the Civil War. He bought several flatboats and moored them in front of the town. On one, he kept a saloon and gambling joint. On another, he promoted a series of weekly prizefights, and on the third, he kept ‘filled with women of evil character and great physical attractiveness.”
‘Hogan’s Floating Palace of Pleasure’ had special entertainment particularly at 5:00 p.m. every day. It was mandatory ‘Bath Time’ in the river for the girls, and Hogan turned it into a hit feature. Men paid well for deck chairs positioned to allow a good view of the proceedings. There were also some hands-on interludes when, for two bucks, a gentleman could jump into the river and assist the bare bathers.”

I concur!
I would love to see a good quality acrylic used, just please no more like that last acrylic run with seams running through every pieceThis would be a good time for GEC to bust out some patriot and/or Mardi Gras acrylic!
Even tho I still liked the Dead Skunk on those, I totally agree, we shouldn't see seams like that.I would love to see a good quality acrylic used, just please no more like that last acrylic run with seams running through every piece

I’m putting these together and figuring it would be a great time for GEC to make their own vintage style pinup acrylic covers.I would love to see a good quality acrylic used, just please no more like that last acrylic run with seams running through every piece
The stainless currently in production will have half stops. Supposedly there is other variations too, but have yet to see anything confirmed. I'm guessing GEC is wrapping up the rendezvous knives and getting ready for a bunch more visitors than usual... hopefully that wraps up soon and we can get some updates.does this pattern have a half stop?
