Horse apple is another name for Osage orange tree.

First a streak of funny etches, now it looks like they are adding funny lanyards... I used to think that badly made gimmicks are the things that you expect from Rough Ryder kind of manufacturer. Look at the cutouts on those whistles.

The whistle is definitely an interesting add-on. Bill has a fun way of surprising us! In my view, it is meant to be removed and clipped on to a backpack or tackle box ...not stay permanently clipped to the knife. Either way I can't to wait to get one

Most laws regarding boats require some sort of noise maker, IE a whistle, so I think it fits the theme, though it still seems kind of random

Little disappointed in the keychain whistle. Would have loved an actual bail on the knife. Would have been useful to hanging from fishing pack too. Why we get a literal keychain on a $100+ (I assume $155) knife seems a little ridiculous but it’s also better than nothing. I think my expectations were a little high. I will getting them regardless

I think you can buy a bail online and just run it that way. It’s a couple extra bucks, but i think it would be nice.

Indeed, check out Mike at CK. I believe he offers bails that would work well.
