They haven't sent out all the Yeti's yet. They got sidetracked with a couple club knives. More yet's will ship Wednesday, and they may send a small shipment of the IW's with them. If not, they will ship the first batch Friday.

Keep in mind they don't send out the full quantity of each version at once. It's usually split between 2-4 shipments. Some dealers parse them out as they get them, others wait until they get them all.

Don't take it for granted that someone is all out just because you missed on a single drop, There may be more to come. Sign up for all the dealers drops and be ready. Some of the bigger ones drop them all at once. I can't name them here, but call to inquire how they do their drops. Some may even tell you when they anticipate doing them. Cover all your bases. As one of our beloved forum members used to say, "Buying GEC"s is war!" Arm yourself.

Great info. Any other “tips and tricks” you’d be willing to share with me I’d be grateful. I’m just a foot soldier in this war, lol. Not a huge collector or reseller, just really like this pattern and would love to find one.

So, I'm finding the Yeti to be much less compelling. I'm typically not into acrylic anyway. The one I got is mostly flat white, and just plastic feeling. Small gap in a corner against the liner. Action is still great. Springs are nice and flat. Certainly a fine tool. But the Ace is staying in the pocket.

Yes, I like the Ace better, but I think the acrylic may grow on us. Mine has a lot of pattern to it. My wife is pretty fond of it for some reason.

Yeah, mostly a personal preference. If someone likes it, that's great.

Unless you are on a dealers reserve list it comes down to how much is your time worth. Plan on camping out on the sites that do public drops. Sometimes you’ll get lucky. I did yesterday on two different sites when they dropped their Yetis. This is the exception and not the rule. Good luck with your search! 🤞

For sure. I work from home so when a drop hits I can try my best. I got a Rosewood 73 last year on drop. Got my 15 TC Osage for sale here and my Remington Bullet from SMKW - but that one was simple, lol.
