Really great iron wood on that one!

I'm holding out hope that I'll still have a chance to get a micarta or jigged bone version. I've only landed an acrylic so far.

Has ANYONE outside The USA or Canada been able to get one???
I essentially have given up on GEC...usps is dead....fedex (if available) in my neck of the woods uses illiterate deliverers and the tracking system seems like it uses an actual Mouse instead of a computer mouse....the line between dealering and flipping seems to have gotten a lot finer these days too.

Purchasing from America is just about done for us at the moment, does not look like picking up for a while, and i mean fair while.

I'm agreeing with Ed for sure. A new pattern premier and a price north of $170, you know including a pin won't break the GEC bank.

The pattern premiere was on the Tidioute line. They got the PPP etch and all got pins. The Northfield line did not receive the PPP did it?

Well, the Swamp Green Bayou Trapper with the fancy/dancy gator shield is from the UN-X-LD line and got a button. Who gives a hoot about PPP - Give us a button!!!!!

I'm just saying it's not a new pattern once the Tidioute run is done. Besides the buttons worthless anyway, I am buying a knife. Keep your buttons, make more knives.

Only a guess here, but the ironwood is the most “traditional,” on-brand, of the run, with the Northfield etch, and without all the kitsch. Hence, no kitschy button.
