Modoc ED Modoc ED Here you go, Ed. I just flew in last night from a quick trip to Oahu with my wife and this was waiting for me in my mailbox. It wasn’t supposed to be here until Monday. The fit and finish are perfect. The dye is a little light in the corners but it still is a nice green. The pattern itself is one of the nicest ever done by GEC, in my opinion.

I added some photos next to my new Victorinox Rancher X as well.

On a side note, we were woken up last night with a decent earthquake. I checked on it this morning and it was a 4.7 generated under the mountain we live on,

Have a great Sunday, everyone.

4.7 will definitely get your attention. Anything above 6 will start to scare the weebie jeebies out of you and at 7 or more will definitely test your belief in the almighty. Rode the 1989 Loma Prieta quake. All I can say is WHAT A RIDE!

I was in Salinas for the Coalinga Quake in 1983... it was a bit scary. 😲

I was go around the corner by the Emeryville Mud Flats on I-80 headed for the Bay Bridge toll booths when the quake struck. Imagine riding a motorcycle at 60mph on a bowl of jello while it’s being shaken violently. Not an experience I’d willing repeat. The worst part came after. 🤯

Yeah I can’t imagine anything above 7. We had a 6.9 a few years back when the volcano was erupting, and a 6.7 when I first moved out here in 2006 that felt massive.

Was that the one that interrupted the World Series?

Yes! I was rushing home to watch the game from where I worked in the East Bay. Obviously I didn’t make it before the game was canceled. Once the series started again things didn’t work out the way I wanted but better times where to come. 😃
Saw Hunter Pence play in our AA ball club. 2006 or 2007? Told my wife: "He won't be here long."
Favorite player growing up was Willie Mays.
The Giants have a great history.
