Brown : )

ARGH!!!!!! So is the clip reversible or not?!?!?

That’s irritating for sure! I even saw in the listings at other dealer sites that it was listed as right/left carry. Guess Buck themselves weren’t sure? What the hell lol.

I'm planning to pick up a few 50th finger grooved and put something nice on the handle in time for the Blade Show in June..If at all possible I'll have the emblem inset too. Picture that with Stag or polished bone! I sure hope Buck will make some with a Nickel silver frame..

When someone gets their Ranger Sport, could you compare its size with a standard Ranger or the Dec. 2021 BOTM?
Maybe I'll just get one, take the clip off, and slip it into the standard sheath...

My July 2020 Aluminum framed / red micarta knife doesn't fit well in the "made in Mexico" sheath. It's too big. I carry it in a "112 Auto made in USA sheath".
I guess you could stretch it out and make it fit. But that may affect the coating on the bolsters eventually?

The bolsters on my aluminum framed are not rounded. I'm assuming that's the difference.

And I honestly do not recall what sheath it came with as it has become separated from it's box.....
I'm assuming the new knife would be the same size..........

Just sayin.

The distressed brown sheath has a bit more "give" to it and I use it for all of my Rangers.

At work, I belt carry my 110 or 112's in a polyester sheath.
In some ways, I prefer them.
I'm sure that would work as well.
The polyester sheath could be less likely to eventually wear the anodized coating off the aluminium - maybe.
I wonder how well that wears after years of use.....
