2025 first knife purchase?

The first of November, I decided I had spent enough on knives in '24 and was going to wait until '25 before considering a new knife purchase. And then Black Friday came and all these knives I've admired but hadn't bought went on sale. Anyway, I bought 6 of them between then and Christmas and was doubting my sanity. Friday, I received an email from a retailer that a grail ('Zaan) was available. I've gotten these before but I'd react too late and they'd be gone. But oh no, not this time. The first knife I get in '25 will be a CRK Umnumzaan. And there's no more doubts about my mental health. Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I needed to get that out. Thanks.
 
I “Need” a couple more Spyderco PM3’s of various persuasions. I said in front of witnesses that 2025 would only have one firearm purchase so knives will get some extra funding.
 
Got my eye on a Work Tuff little evil small.
All that i hear is good things about their knifes and like the semi tracker style of blade.
 
Well I had no intentions of buying anything now or in the foreseeable future. In fact I was planning on digging through the pile tomorrow and putting a few up for sale to fund another unrelated purchase. Then I saw this Oknife Mettle 3 in the exchange, and its weirdness called to me. Sooooooo … first one for the new year. And I’ll be scouring the list for one or two more to unload.
 
2025 is off to a solid start for me. I scooped this up from Tony a couple days ago and it will make its voyage across the big pond after the New Year. It will be my first one of 2025. I also was able to commission a piece from one of my other favorite makers and that will likely be my second unless something else comes up while it's being made.

Ive got nothin !Maybe something will pop up in 2025 but high prices and ugly designs arent helping…
