$30 knife kicked the Sebenza out of my pocket

Sweet looking knife, but looks like it would sit too high in the pocket for my liking.

Medic, it rides lower in the tip down position.
But I wouldn't consider it low rider at all

I just bought five.
One for me and one for each of my boys in the kitchen.

ETA: thanks for the head's up, this place is great, kind of...

Haha, you bought five??

Sorry you saw my thread

Thomas, you me a commission :p

I have been holding off getting one of these but you guys are a bunch of enablers! I picked one up today and haven't put it down yet. Great feeling knife, fits my hand perfectly and didn't hurt the wallet to bad. I found a Barrage on clearance that came home with me too. :)

Congrats^^^

I carried my TiMil today and I was aware of it's weight in my pocket all day.

I like how the Skyline sort of disappears when you clip it on.

Ditto. Had to make a special trip to WalMart last nite just because of this thread. At least now I won't need to buy a Sebenza.:D

Don't say that, Chris Reeve is going to kill me the next time I see him at a blade show. :D

That was typed with tongue very much in cheek. A Sebenza is still definitely one of my Grail knives.

I've been meaning to get a Skyline for well over a year now and this thread just gave that little extra push.

Bought mine at BLADE last year & it has become one of my favorites. Not only is it well made, it is fun to flip open. Have the older one with 13C26 so I've though about getting a newer one, or maybe one in Damascus?

Ill have to admit, I picked one up for about $23 shipped in like new shape off of fleabay last night...I mean, whats $23 if its a decent knife.

Here's some proof when you go to collect your sales commission:

Very nice fellow knuckle dragger.

Looking at PG's pic above I have noticed that his Skyline blade is semi-polished, mine is too. Could it be they are doing something different with this model? Mine was hair popping sharp from the factory.

Post up if your late model Skyline came the same way, it may not be coincidence.

Thanks! I did a little tune-up after I got it. Hair popping out of the blister pack, now even more so (and shinier, too).

Mine is a 08' model with 13c26. It was used but in very good shape. Dull though. Put a new edge on it and stropped it with a leather belt on the grinder and its follishly sharp. Nice little knife for the price, well really cant beat it for the price.

I went to buy one and I found it walking around the Bass Pro Shops and they wanted $60....I said hell no! I will find one online I guess. All of the Walmarts I checked in my area online show not available. I will keep looking, for $30 I will buy one, not for $60 though.

Got one in the mail today. Bugger is shaving sharp right out of the box, and nearly as light as a feather. First Kershaw knife for me, and boy do they know how to make a good first impression.
