$30 knife kicked the Sebenza out of my pocket

Dang, if you're serious Thomas, that would certainly be a knife I would cherish for life.

Oh and sorry for the typo, the next time I'm shilling for Kershaw I'll be sure to double check my grammar. :p:D

I prolly have a damascus Skyline laying around if you think that will cover it?

Nice little commission.

Rob, you at least owe us pics when it arrives. :D

Got a red one from kershawguy; showed it to my brothers....had to order 'em one apiece!

Incredibly sharp + that 'chrome edge look',right out of the box; all 3.

The very best low $ knife I've owned,in 50 years of owning knives.

Looking at PG's pic above I have noticed that his Skyline blade is semi-polished, mine is too. Could it be they are doing something different with this model? Mine was hair popping sharp from the factory.

Post up if your late model Skyline came the same way, it may not be coincidence.

Same here.

Gotta love it, I read this thread with pride the other day, then I left my Skyline in a spare ambulance for some other crew to find. (we have hundreds of crews) So my contribution of spreading the love is complete, I will try to find a Damascus version next I suppose. I miss my skyline.

Wow, Thomas truly is a class act.

Check it out guys. This is a keeper. This one is going to kick the other Skyline out of my pocket. :D:D

For now I'm leaving it tip-down. I'm trying to figure out which I like better on the Skyline. I like the lower pocket profile that tip-down gives.

Sounds like you could benefit from doing the pocket clip mod like I outlined a few weeks back! I am in the works on a new one, sneak peek over in the maintenance sub-forum.

Good on ya for giving props to the Skyline, I'm right there with ya!

Just had to go back & ogle it again,5.56.

The lettering on the blade sums it up:

1760DAM is right!

i bought 1760DAM and liked it so much, i decided to keep that in the box. went to walmart and got me 1760 to EDC.

Well I used the heck out my 1760DAM on Sunday. I set up a patio swing, and that thing came wrapped in more bubblewrap, tape, and cardboard than I have ever seen. The Skyline handled it no problem, and it didn't appear to lose much of it's edge, if any.

My daughter had to ask why I was cutting the cardboard box into such small pieces. Kids just don't understand. :D
