#44 Northwoods barlow.

It does show only one initially, unlike the camel bone, or ivory there is just the one picture. You click on that and it'll show you they Autumn Jig Bone specific page. Next to the price is the amount in stock(39 at this point). I know it'd be crazy labor intensive to do a double sided pic of each knife but I wish it was always an option. If I was going for the camel bone there are some that I would much prefer over others and a few that I just flat out don't like. The option to preview the entire inventory is definitely appreciated.

Got my shipping notification today on mine.. it will be my first traditional after a LONG time of looking. I was all ready to pull the trigger on a #23 but couldn't find the right color/handle material/lanyard/bolster patter I really wanted. I hit up KSF pretty often and finally noticed the new Madison Barlow Saw the jigbone and the search was over.. big, classy, thin and perfect looking. Thanks guys for pulling this one off. Can't wait for it to get here in holiday mail traffic.

Well I would say that's pretty confusing when you can view others in ivory and so on. I agree, labor intensive but would help in knowing exactly what you're getting. When you click on the camel bone you see all these available but every time you click on the single pic it says only one in stock, crazy.

Meaning there is just one of that particular knife.

Man I hope I can get one in elephant ivory when I get paid. Even tho the shipping is very high this is the only source for these beauties. I admire ksf a lot and Derrick for bringing these beauties to life.

Hawk, if they last a while, I'll probably pick up one of the jigged bones or ebony as an EDC. I can't see myself ever carrying a ivory in my pocket.

Is that better knarfeng?

I guess we differ on that then. I plan on carrying and using both the mammoth and the elephant. I might break my rule and carry in a pocket slip though :)

Keep the discussion to the knives please. Questions on inventory, availability, pricing need to be asked outside the discussion forums.

Time to post this again.
This forum is supposed to be about knives. Not the purchasing thereof.

That is an excellent question....because I just made the term up!! :)

Haha well after looking through more thoroughly I find that it ids a very descriptive term, maybe it'll catch on!

I'm really liking the jigged bone and darker camel bone as well. Although its cool they are selling so well, I hope some last a while so I have an opportunity.

The clip is generally much pointer and much more cut out then this profile on the #44, especially from GEC. The main blade on the below #15 from GEC is their version of the clip, very similar to the clip on a 110 as well.

The blue bone looks nice, but I'd love to see a gray smooth bone if it can be done.. that would look ultra sleek and classy.

Not sure I'd call this a barlow, but I definitely like the look of it, and can't wait til mine arrives

I'm a little confused about the Barlow classification as well. Does it get that name solely from the extended bolster? Doesn't matter to me really, they could have called 'em Fairy Ticklers and I'd be in anyway.

Not in a strictly traditional sense.though the long bolster lends itself to the Barlow style .........the rest is Northwoods artistic license just as many companies in the past have done...................
