#6375 Case Large Stockman

Wife got me this today. It's not specifically the one I wanted, but I do like it very much. Gonna enjoy carrying this. Amber bone with CV blades.

Whoa!!! Very nice! Congrats and kudos to a great wife for scoring that one for you

Not sure which one you wanted but that's sure a great looking one! The 6375 is my favorite large knife for weekend duty.

Thanks all. I wanted/still want the Blue bone and a Orange Synthetic. But now that I have this one, I think I might try to get those in the medium.

So, this thread bubbled up on the day my bigg'n arrived in the mail. This thing is a beast.

I still like my 61ot better, tho. Just sayin.

Have one just like that one. Love the purple haze bone!! These are really hard to beat for the price.

Quintessential 6375 thread. I wonder just how many have been influenced into purchasing a Large Stockman?
Personally, I've read this thread several times from start to finish since ARM originally posted it(along with a hundred other threads- y'all gotta stop with the enabling). Last week it finally dawned on me that with all the reading I still didn't own one???
I do now, thanks to knifeswapper- it's even a 2012  (no, I don't know if it is better than other/more current production!). It is a Very nice knife in AmberBone/CV. My immediate reaction when unwrapping it "This is considered "Big"?" I have average sized hands and I think it's just about right. Then did a comparison to my GEC 71 and Sodbuster Jr. and is So close dimensionally it doesn't matter (plus the added advantage of TWO additional sharp edges). A smidge heavier yeah but I've uttered bigger loads :p
It was placed it in a perfect spot : right front pocket. It will stay there for a while.

Late to the party, but better late than never. Here's what a whim bid on the auction site gets you. It needed some clean up for some minor corrosion on the blades, which I then gently hand sharpened to 7000 grit. No safe queens here. Sorry for the poor pics.

I missed this thread, as well as seeing arizonaranchman arizonaranchman 's photos of his 6375 CV. I have one in the Purple Haze SS and the Amber Bone CV, and really, if size were not an issue, it's what I would carry every day. I like Case Stockman patterns in general, and the 75 and 47 patterns in particular.

Agreed! The 47 is best due to pocketability, but the 75 feels great in the hand. My favorite Case patterns.
