#6375 Case Large Stockman

Does anyone happen to have a 6392 to compare to the 6375? I’m partial to the 75, but am interested in hunting down a 92.

The 92 is noticeably smaller, mostly the clip blade and when all blades are closed.

Every time I see a big stockman, I think of my Grandpa.
That was the knife he carried every day in his back pocket.
He carried a 6375 for years then switched to a big Eye Brand stockman the same size.
I sure miss that man. He was a knife trader and collector. Had about 300 knives when he died.

Of all the ones mentioned, the Schrades tend to be just a tad smaller than the others. Schrades (I've measured many) tend to run from 3.90" to 3.95", while the others are almost always 3.98-4.00". The Case 75 pattern is over 4¼" closed.

Only issue with mine is that the scales are a little thick right in front of the nail nick for the main blade. Makes it a little difficult to access the nick without a bit more effort.
Otherwise it is fine. Does not look like stag but I just like how it looks

How do you like that bonestag? I've been kind of eyeing a 6375 bonestag myself.
If you like the way bonestag looks in pictures and you want a large, tough, well built folder, you should really enjoy having one of Case's 6.5375 in hand. They may be the best of the large (>4" production) stockmans, mine certainly is... thanks Alan.

I modified my 6375 after dyeing the amber bone handles, like I saw a forum member do here in the archives. I filed down the spey into sort of a pen blade shape. Then I ground down the kicks on it to drop it a bit so that I could drop the sheepsfoot blade to be flush with the clip.

Here's how the knife now carries:

It's almost perfect, except that I dropped the now-pen blade just a tad too much. It wants to catch on the sheepsfoot blade if I don't grasp and pull correctly. Oh, well. I can't put the metal back on!

I recently added the Amber Saw Cut Bone. I like it so much that I got two of them and while I was at it bought another As Ground one with jigged navy blue composite covers.

I had one with cv blades and yellow hamdle. I miss it. I've had to sell knives lately because of being sick. But I'll have Mother one soon. I'd like to get a coupled with synthetic handles.
