#77 Barlow 2016 - What configuration would you like?

My single clip point 77 from the first run in blackwood/ebony is rounded, my single clip point 77 from the first run in blood red sawcut is square edged. I'd bet the sawcuts are square edged, micarta and wood round on this run as well.

We're talking about the very first run? The two-blade barlow? Wharncliffe and clip point? I'll have to post pictures of mine.

Mcar is correct the very first run had two full sized blades, nickel silver bolsters brass liners, and a squared off butt. I love this version.

Man, that micarta is beautiful! It will be a lovely contrast to my ebony 77. I reserved a copperhead and a micarta on a whim so Paul is getting the one that I love least.

Paul, it looks like you have a copperhead 77 in your future. ;)

Does anyone remember seeing the projected price point on these before the early reserve was locked? I searched this thread to no avail. You can PM/VM me if this is not the appropriate area to post this. I just need to bolster my wallet :)

Last year the single blade was $97.25 - 98.57 depending on cover.

Copperheads are up on GEC's website.

Those copperheads came out really nice. I was thinking that those were going to be the best of the bunch, but they still blow my expectations out of the water. These might be the most attractive batch of the NF barlows to date. Kudos to Mike and GEC.

The 77 Barlow has become my all-time favorite pocket knife. I've not been without one in my right front pocket for a year and a half now. These newest versions are awesome and follow the tradition of all the others. What an awesome piece of quality craftsmanship on one of the most classic of all patterns.

Fully agree. With that clip blade & long pull match strike; this is truly an out of the park home run. Well done GEC & Mr. Latham.

 Wow! First post might as well now...been sitting back and trying to take in some knowledge from all of the smart and good folks on this forum for a little over a year.

I am so glad that I was able to reserve one of these - I missed the last run of 77 Barlows, but managed to get a 772215 Yankee Jack in antique yellow jigged bone last November as my first GEC knife. As already said, looks like a home run ball!

3 for 3, they all look awesome! Cant wait to see the jig bone now. Is it me or does the sawcut itself look a little different?

The picture here makes it look really radiused on my screen. When I go to the GEC page it looks more similar to my red sawcut 77. I know that GEC has come up with several different versions of the sawcut effect so I don't know if it's exactly the same, but it's not nearly as different as the shrunken down picture makes it look.
