#77 Barlow 2016 - What configuration would you like?

LOL we crossed one another in posts. See my "PS" I just added to my first post prior to your last response. :)

I can't wait to see them when they "hit the streets"!

Those Copperheads look like Barlow perfection to me. I have one on reserve and I have been waffling back and forth on whether to let it go to the next guy in line, but I'm going to have to keep it I think. So THIS will be my last knife purchase, rather than my previous one (the spear+coping from last year).

I want to see the red jigged. I don't know why they aren't updating what's happening and the 77 Barlow section.

Last knife purchase ever?

That's the plan.

Hey, I'm rooting for you. I'm on the verge of declaring that I'm done looking for knives to carry. I don't think I'm ready to stop buying any time soon, but I've definitely altered my habits after picking up the knife that just fits for me. Here's to hoping that this barlow is the one that does it for you and you no longer need to keep looking.

Yes, they are! These check all the boxes for the proverbial "grail" knife. Mike will be hard-pressed to top this model.

Since I got my first 77 Barlow in Feb 2015 I've never been without one. I have two - a sheepfoot in African blackwood and a spear/coping - I've carried one or the other every single day since then. It's always my #1 in the right front pocket, usually with a Stockman, Peanut or an SAK as my #2 depending on the day ahead.

To me the 77 Barlow is a true Grail - perfection in every way!

As nice as the copperhead looks, I sure am ready to see the pic swapped out with a red jigged bone. The anticipation of the jigging pattern is kind of killing me at this point!

I am right there with you. Maybe saving the best for last?
Thanks,
Brian

I was posting a picture in another thread and happened across a picture of last years 2 blade barlow. Wish we had 2 blades as an option this year. I like the all steel/thick back spring look and feel.

Anyway, just decided to post this because we are in a holding pattern till GEC posts the red jigged bone.

Those two blade autumn gold bones were some of the sweetest covers I've ever seen. So dark and rich...
I am very pleased with my ivory bone, but part of me wishes I had gone with one of those.
I'm surprised Mike didn't do a smooth bone on this run.
