That Peach-seed looks exceptional, fine shield too! (like the 14 Forum Knife) Mind you, be even better Barehead because of that wonderful bone

Thanks, Will

I know! I went to find my confirmation email and couldn't believe how far back it was.Me too. I am excited to receive my Appaloosa bone. I can't believe I pre-ordered it almost 4 months ago.
Yeah, ditto on the pinchability difference between the trims. Not sure yet if my long pull is actually stiffer or just seems that way because of having to grip further back. Just got it so it needs to work in a bit for a fair comparison.New knife day (again - sorry honey). I like the Peach seed. In comparing these 2, I noticed the short nick on the Cocobolo makes it a little more pinchable and easy to open. The long pull sits further back, so there’s a little less real estate to grab, along with a little less leverage. It is still pinchable, but I was reaching for the nick on this one.

I like the jigging and the long pull for looks. I think I like the Tidioute configuration a little better for every day use. But that swedge!

Rrrgghhhh! My cocobolo version doesn't even hit my mailbox until tomorrow but that particular trim has me jonesing to drop another few bills. Anyone else like the jigged bone over the peach seed? I think I just may. This looks like a fantastic run. As I was getting only one the choice was pretty tough. Ended up with this one, even though I'm not to crazy about the bladestamp. Picture borrowed GEC as my knife is on the long and slow way to me here i Norway.

353, you made a great choice. There are lots of wonderful options, but, if I had to pick only one, it would probably be the one you selected, or the Appaloosa Bone, Ironwood, or Stag. This is not to diminish in any way all the other incredible covers. Just my personal preference. This 78 pattern provides such an amazing platform for the handle material.
It is incredible that you live in Norway, the knife is on its way to you from Titusville, and we can all share in the experience from our respective homes! Please post lots of photos of your knives incorporating scenes from Norway.
Very nice lookn knife, wish I had reserved one!My new favorite.

Just be honest with your self and buy 4 and only sell oneRrrgghhhh! My cocobolo version doesn't even hit my mailbox until tomorrow but that particular trim has me jonesing to drop another few bills. Anyone else like the jigged bone over the peach seed? I think I just may.
Stop posting these before I land myself in the dog house! Maybe I can fool myself into thinking I will buy both and sell off the one I prefer less?
That's possibly more accurately worded. I don't have multiples of any GEC knife but this could be my first...especially if these incredible examples keep getting posted of the jigged bone!Just be honest with your self and buy 4 and only sell one![]()
LOL couldn’t agree more on all accounts. That's possibly more accurately worded. I don't have multiples of any GEC knife but this could be my first...especially if these incredible examples keep getting posted of the jigged bone!
I think they vary . My smooth white bone you can “but it’s hard” so it’s easier to use the nail nick . My two Cocobolo you can but one is a little easier then the other .Question for all of you guys with the single blade versions, can you pinch it open?
