Of the ones I have...
Tidioute (blue camel bone, smooth white bone, desert ironwood): yes, but only because of the nail nick area gives little more to grab on to so not intuitively easy.
Northfield (Satin blade CK SFO): Not really, but if you try really hard can get it to open.
Northfield polished blade (Unxld Golden Brown Jigged bone): no way, at least not on my example.

~YMMV and could be different on each one depending on how deep the blade sits in the well.
 
Ah that's too bad I was looking at a polished Northfield jigged bone, but can't really use a nail nick...Hence the need for pinch-ability...

Hey Mike, someone on earlier post in this thread did an EO mod that I though looked awesome on the single blade knife, may be an option to look into.

Edit: look at posts #638 & #731 from @paulhilborn , very cool!

I did see that could be an option, as I really like single bladed taditionnals, and the 78 Northfield is a cool package! Thanks for the tip.
 
After flushing the joint out, it's smooth as butter, walk and talk is amazing. A quick strop and it's super sharp. Fit and finish on this knife might be the best I have seen on any of my newer knifes, man what a great run of knives!!! Hope everyone gets to enjoy this run!

That’s funny TheFactor TheFactor . I did the same thing last night. Then I got diesel all over me with a fuel filter change, and I was almost afraid to handle my new blades! Almost. Ha
 
Ok pizza’s done but couldn’t wait so I randomly opened one and it was the Golden Brown Jig bone . This is my best one yet !!! Love the light Carmel colors fading into the chocolate brown jig bone.
Outstanding walk and talk ,The fit and finish is outstanding .

Ok after dinner it’ll be the two SFO’s to unveil and I can’t wait !
