So I loved my Smooth White Bone so much that I had to order a SMKW SFO, which I love even more, so I was just able to order an Ebony single from CK. I hope it breaks this wave or I'm in trouble because there are 14 variations of these 78 singles and I cant seem to get enough.

I also thought my next would be my last ;)
Now I have a Ebony on the way to !
 
Quite the family you got there!
Tomorrow I should receive a NF jiggerd bone.
In a years time I think we'll be glad we bought more than one, as these seem like winners. (I'll bow out at 3).

This 78 just might be my favorite pattern to date no doubt . Definitely never had this many of the same pattern in all my years of collecting and that says a lot .

I came up short snagging all of the 78 singles that I wanted, possibly because I wanted too many to begin with... it is crazy how 3 out of 14 somehow still doesn't seem like enough. I'm going to keep a lookout for some Micarta, a Stag, an Appaloosa and a Blue Bone, but in the meantime I just needed to see them all lined up. This has been a tremendous run, each will no doubt be heirlooms in my family.

For those with the NF jigged bone and smooth white bone,which one stands out more to you now that they are in your hands?

Placing an order today and having a difficult time deciding between these two?

What’s your thoughts on the acrylic cover 78?

I don't have the NF jigged but I do have the similar SMKW jigged and a Smooth Bone. I like that I can pinch the Smooth Bone open but I began carrying the SMKW immediately and it hasn't left my pocket yet.

I've never been drawn to acrylic covers personally, that being said I see a natural connection between doing a similar acrylic as this 78, maybe a bit tighter version to make something like tortoise shell pick guard cover with a guitar shield on some type of pattern. Might make a nice little tribute package. "Guitars, whiskey, guns, and knives" -Chris Stapleton

Well the smooth white bone won out, just placed my order. Really couldn’t go wrong with either one. Some very nice cover offerings on these. Looking forward to its arrival.
